Twitter was abuzz Sunday night with questions about Kim Novak's bizarre "frozen" appearance at the Oscars where she, coincidentally, handed out the award to the Disney film of the same name.
The 81-year-old Hollywood screen legend, who starred in Alfred Hitchcock's 1958 thriller "Vertigo," took the stage with Matthew McConaughey to present the awards for Best Animated Short and Best Animated Feature films.

But Novak's seemingly surgically enhanced face, gravelly voice, and weird exchange with McConaughey trumped the awards and made her the target of Twitter jokes.
"Do you want to say it?" McConaughey asked the actress when it came time to announce the winner of Best Animated Feature.
"I'd like to try to," Novak said.
"And the Oscar goes to," he began.
"Ohhhh ... Are you ready?" Novak said, followed by a long pause. "'Frozen'!"
But others came to the Hollywood legend's defense.
