Miley Cyrus is reportedly very "hurt" and "upset" that her ex-fiancé Liam Hemsworth has moved on with "Vampire Diaries" actress Nina Dobrev, but the singer is trying to use her Bangerz tour to distract herself.

Cyrus, 21, and the 24-year-old Australian actor met on the set of the Nicholas Sparks movie, "The Last Song," in 2009 and became engaged in 2012. They broke up last September.

"I was so scared of ever being alone, and I think, conquering that fear, this year, was actually bigger than any other transition that I had, this entire year," Cyrus told Barbara Walters in December as part of the veteran journalist's annual "10 Most Fascinating People" interviews. "I don't ever want to have to need someone again, where you feel like, without them, you can't be yourself."

The "Wrecking Ball" singer kicked off her Bangerz tour on Valentine's Day in Vancouver and is reportedly "trying not to think about [Liam] with other girls" (Hemsworth has been linked to Dobrev, 25, since earlier this month).

"The tour has been helping take her mind off Liam, because she has no choice but to be really focused, but when she heard about Liam and Nina of course she was upset," a source told HollywoodLife.com. "She hasn't spoken to him in a while and she tries not to think about him with other girls but she heard about it and it hurt. She's just trying to move on though, and not obsess."

Cyrus told Cosmopolitan magazine in December that she plans to focus on her career to help get over the hump of the breakup.

"I need to treat my music like a relationship — give it my time and all the attention it deserves — and that's my main love right now," she said. "This is the best time of my life. I'm not going to look back on it and be like, 'I wish I hadn't been dwelling over a breakup,' you know? Because that's not what God wants my life to be about right now. God wants my life to be about being successful and being happy and blessing other people and being blessed."
