Former New York Gov. Mario Cuomo, 82, has been hospitalized for treatment of a heart condition.
The Associated Press reported the governor's office as saying Saturday that the father of Gov. Andrew Cuomo is in good spirits.
A gubernatorial spokeswoman said the former three-term governor is thankful for the best wishes and support he's received.
Andrew Cuomo also spent the Thanksgiving Day holiday at the hospital with his father.
Mario Cuomo's condition and details on his heart condition weren't disclosed. The spokeswoman says more updates will be provided "as appropriate."
