NH To Ask Residents If Convention Needed to Amend Constitution

By    |   Monday, 05 November 2012 09:51 AM EST

New Hampshire will weigh a measure Tuesday that simply asks if voters want to convene a convention to amend the state Constitution.

The proposed measure is required to appear on the ballot every 10 years, according to the Constitution.

Question 3 is believed to be a formality this time around.

"I don't see anything that particularly requires having a constitutional convention," Carolyn McKinney, chairman of the Republican Liberty Caucus of New Hampshire, told the Lawrence Eagle Tribune.
