Noah Ritter 'Apparently' Steals Show From Reporter in Viral Video

By    |   Tuesday, 05 August 2014 04:23 PM EDT

Noah Ritter had never been on TV before when a local television reporter interviewed him at the Wayne County Fair in Pennsylvania, and now the 5-year-old is going viral with the nickname “apparently kid” after stealing the show with his confident and repeated use of the word.

"Apparently I've never been on live television before. Apparently sometimes I don't watch the news, because I'm a kid, and apparently every time, apparently Grandpa just gives me the remote after we watch the Powerball," Noah told WNEP-TV’s Sofia Ojeda.

The interview has drawn widespread attention online, including from such outlets as the “Today” show, “Good Morning America,” and Us Weekly.

Noah will start kindergarten in the fall and hopes to be a paleontologist when he grows up, according to WNEP-TV. But many social media users are pegging the Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania, youth for a career in broadcasting.
