A video of President Barack Obama’s voice dubbed over Iggy Azalea’s “Fancy” has gone viral with more than 2.7 million hits in the first 24 hours.

Baracksdubs posted the YouTube video that pieces together Obama’s words and phrases from speeches throughout the summer to mesh with the lyrics of “Fancy.”

The YouTube channel has been dubbing Obama over popular songs for a couple of years — and usually generating viral videos with millions of fans. The dubbed Obama singing “Drink to That” by Rihanna has more than 2.5 million hits and Carly Rae Jepsen’s “Call Me Maybe” has more than 42 million views.

University of Tennessee student Fadi Saleh came up with the idea for a Baracksdubs channel in 2011, he told the UT Daily Beacon.

A junior in the College Scholars program at the university, Saleh created the “Drink to That” video by using Obama’s words from campaign speeches. It got 80,000 views the first week and Saleh said he was disappointed. Then it caught on.

“Even today, it's still surreal," Saleh told the Beacon. "It was super surreal then, and its super surreal now."

His YouTube channel now has more than 617,000 subscribers and Saleh has been on MTV’s Video Music Awards.

The Beacon said Saleh remembered when “everything changed ... at exactly 5 a.m. on Jan. 10, 2012.” He’d pulled an all-nighter to finish a Lady Gaga-Obama rendition of “Born This Way.”

"By the end of the night it already had thousands of comments," Saleh told the Beacon. "The next morning it was featured on the 'Today' show, and next week it had three million views."

Baracksdubs is still pulling in new viewers.
