Olivia Newton-John Exorcism: Star Cleanses Home After Contractor Suicide

Olivia Newton-John enlisted a priest to do an exorcism on her property last week after a contractor killed himself there in August.

The “Grease” actress apparently lost a sale on her $6.2 million home to Rosie O’Donnell after the suicide occurred, the London Express said in its exclusive report.

The Express said O’Donnell encouraged Newton-John to do something to cleanse the home after the violent event. The actress watched along with family and friends as the ritual involving holy water was performed by a priest at her Jupiter, Fla., residence.

Christopher Pariseletti, a builder, shot himself in the head near the pool and was found by another contractor working there. He was in financial trouble and friends told the Express he had asked Newton-John for a loan.

A house that’s the scene of such a bloody tragedy can be difficult to sell, even though Newton-John dropped the price, a Florida Realtor told the Express.

“Unfortunately there is a grim notoriety to the house and people are put off by that,” the unnamed Realtor said. “Whoever buys the home will always know that someone blew their brains out in there. It is not the nicest housewarming present.”

The luxurious 5,500-square-foot home includes soaring ceilings and water access with a boat dock.
