Prince has recorded a tribute song for the people of Baltimore in the wake of Freddie Gray's death and subsequent riots, and it will soon be released.
According to USA Today, spokesperson Yvette Noel-Schure released artwork for the song and an official statement.
The song "addresses the unrest in Baltimore and the socio/political issues around the country in the wake of a slew of killings of young black men," said the statement.
It also serves as "a tribute to all of the people of the city of Baltimore."
Release plans have not been announced as of yet, but the statement said that the song was recorded this week at Paisley Park.
