The fifth “Rambo” movie will be called “Rambo: Last Blood,” Sylvester Stallone confirmed in a recent Tweet.
The tweet refers to a gangster movie about Gregory “The Grim Reaper” Scarpa.
The previous "Rambo" movie, released in 2008, earned $113 million worldwide,
The “Rambo” franchise began in 1982 with “Rambo: First Blood,” based on David Morrell’s 1972 novel about a Vietnam veteran on the run.
A release date hasn’t been set for the fifth film, but Stallone, 68, will reprise the title role. "Last Blood" is expected to follow John Rambo taking on a Mexican drug cartel.
Stallone also will reprise his role as Rocky Balboa for director Ryan Coogler’s spinoff movie "Creed."
His most recent performance was in 2014’s “Expendables 3.”
Some Twitter users poked fun at the title, while others either looked forward to criticized Stallone's upcoming films.
