Former Disney star Selena Gomez cursed and stormed offstage in front of a crowd of mostly children at the KIIS FM 2013 Jingle Ball in Los Angeles Friday because of a broken microphone.
The microphone worked well enough to catch Gomez, 21, dropping the f-bomb as she walked off stage before the end of her show,
Us Weekly reported. The singer became frustrated with the inconsistent microphone and audio.

"Sorry, the sound isn't working!" Gomez told the audience. "Are you guys having a good night? I promise, a lot cooler people are gonna come out tonight. Is it okay if I perform two more songs and you guys can get to it?"
Gomez sang her hit "Come & Get It," before the incident.
"It's hardly language fit for the holidays,"
David Harding, of the New York Daily News, wrote. "The 21-year-old, in behavior more fitting of her ex Justin Bieber, said the F-word and stomped off in exasperation before finishing her set."
Artists Ariana Grande, Robin Thicke, and Macklemore and Ryan Lewis participated in the Jingle Ball, along with Miley Cyrus, who twerked on a smiling Santa Claus on stage,
according to KIIS-FM.
The Texas-born Gomez is best known for playing Alex Russo on the Disney Channel show "Wizards of Waverly Place." She has acted in movies "Ramona and Beezus," "Monte Carlo" and "Spring Breakers."
Her band, Selena Gomez & The Scene, produced gold albums with "Kiss & Tell" and "A Year Without Rain." Gomez's first solo effort this year, "Stars Dance" also went gold with the singles "Come & Get It" and "Slow Down."
Gomez has had a much-publicized on and off relationship with fellow singer Justin Bieber, which ended this year. She has also been linked romantically to Nick Jonas, of the Jonas Brothers, and actor Taylor Lautner.
The Jingle Ball is held annually as a fundraiser for the Ryan Seacrest Foundation charity.
