Former "Days of Our Lives" soap opera actor Dylan Michael Patton was charged Thursday with selling cocaine out of his California home, a felony.
Patton, 20, was arrested earlier this week after sheriff's deputies obtained a warrant to raid his Agoura Hills, Calif., home, according to TMZ. U
ndercover police officers had reportedly been sent to the house a few days earlier to make a purchase.
"Deputies allegedly seized cocaine from the residence," the criminal complaint filed against him said.

Because his home is next to Sumac Elementary School, Patton was charged with selling drugs within 1,000 feet of an elementary school, according to the complaint.
Currently in jail on $30,000 bail, Patton could face nine years in prison if convicted.
Patton was nominated for a daytime Emmy for outstanding young actor for his role as Will Horton on "Days of Our Lives." His character is the son of Sami Brady, who is played by Alison Sweeney. Patton appeared in more than 100 episodes of the drama between 2009 and 2010.

A Texas native, Patton began his professional acting career at age 7 with regional and national commercials, according to his official biography. His résumé includes a handful of small film and TV roles, including appearances on "Cold Case" and "That's So Raven."
