Taylor Swift's Twitter and Instagram accounts were hacked on Tuesday, and the perpetrators threatened to release nude pictures of the young starlet.
The hacker or hackers tried to promote their own Twitter accounts once they had control, and several suspicious fans took screenshots of the forged tweets and Instagram posts.
Soon enough, Swift was notified, and took to her Tumblr account to let people know what was going on.
"Well, now I’m awake," the 25-year-old pop star wrote. "My Twitter got hacked but don’t worry, Twitter is deleting the hacker tweets and locking my account until they can figure out how this happened and get me new passwords. Never a dull moment."
A few minutes later she discovered her Instagram was compromised as well.
"Now instagram. This is going to be a long day."
Lucky for Swift, the Twitter folks soon had the hackers on the ropes, and the offending tweets were deleted just 15 minutes later.
Through it all, the pop star's attitude stayed upbeat. She made lemonade by promoting her new Grammy-nominated single, "Shake It Off," and told the hackers of the world that she doesn't have any nude photos to hack.
