Timbaland and his wife Monique Mosley are getting a divorce, and Mosley is asking the musician for child support for the couple’s daughter and also her child from a previous marriage.
In divorce paperwork, Mosley said Timbaland has “publicly and privately proclaimed this child as his own,” and she also offered a
list of expenses she wants the rapper, who has a reported net worth of $80 million, to cover, TMZ reported. They include life insurance, alimony, private schools, and others. In addition, Mosley said in the documents that she doesn’t have any money and had to borrow from a friend to pay the attorney.

In an interesting approach to alimony, Mosley lists both “rehabilitative” and “permanent” alimony and also a request for a one-time payment, TMZ said.
The couple has been together 10 years and
married five of those, The Huffington Post said. Their daughter, Reign, is 5.
Predictably, the announced divorce proceedings and the long list of demands riled up the internet community.
Wrote a commenter on an
E! Online story: “What makes her think regardless of the reason for the divorce that she is entitled to permanent alimony. So if she shacks up with someone else, he has to pay for it? These greedy women are a disgrace. I hope he had the good sense to make her sign a prenup. Child support is understandable and necessary but alimony is a ridiculous concept.”
“Demands are crazy! It's like she got the papers and just ticked every box she could find!!! Hopefully the judge tosses it out,” another person commented.
