Tom Cruise and Lindsay Lohan are an item, at least according to OK! Magazine, but the actress has told London's Daily Mail that the relationship rumors with the "Mission: Impossible" star just are not true.
Lohan, 28, is currently living in London while performing in the in the play "Speed the Plow," while Cruise, 52, is in Monaco where he is currently filming "Mission: Impossible 5,"
according to the Daily Mail, which cited OK! Magazine as saying Lohan couldn't wait to get her hooks into Cruise, who was divorced from wife Katie Holmes in 2012.
"Lindsay's always had a major crush on Tom and was dying to run into him, so the second she got her chance, she pounced," a source told OK!, claiming that the two had been keeping their relationship under wraps since first meeting Oct. 7 at a London gathering place.
The two have a history. Lohan's name came up in a 2012 Vanity Fair story that she reportedly met with Cruise, along with several other actresses, in a strange Church of Scientology wife audition before the actor married Holmes. Lohan distanced herself from the story back when it came out,
according to the Huffington Post.
News about the Cruise's rumored relationship to Lohan comes as Holmes opened up about her divorce with her ex-husband to
People magazine this week.
"I don't want that moment in my life to define me, to be who I am," Holmes told People about her divorce. "I don't want that to be what I'm known as. I was an actor before, an actor during and an actor now."
Holmes said that being a mother to her daughter Suri, 8, who she had with Cruise, "means everything to me."
"I'm learning every day, and I have been since the minute I became a mom," Holmes told the magazine. "My patience has grown, but between 4 and 6 p.m. . . . I mean, wow. Between tickle fights and glitter art, I try to throw in some manners along the way."
