The ranch near Eldorado, Texas, owned by polygamist Warren Jeffs has been seized by state authorities.
"Law enforcement personnel are working with the occupants of the ranch to take all reasonable actions to assist with their departure of the property, to preserve the property, and to successfully execute the court order,"
the Texas Department of Public Safety said, CNN reported.

Legal proceedings started in 2012 when the Texas Attorney General’s office attempted to seize the property. The forfeiture of the ranch became final earlier this year.
KLST-TV in San Angelo, Texas, reported several members of Jeffs’ sect were seen removing items from the ranch on Thursday.
Eight adults are reported to live on the 1,600-acre ranch in west-central Texas where authorities said nearly 480 children were sexually abused by Jeffs, 58, and others over several years. Jeffs is serving a life sentence for sexually assaulting two girls, ages 12 and 15.
The Fundamentalist Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints openly practices polygamy on Jeffs’ Yearning for Zion Ranch. Members of the church have denied allegations of sexual abuse despite reports that young girls have been forced into marriages to much older men.
