Wonder Woman's new look, unveiled at San Diego's Comic-Con on Saturday, continues to receive mixed reaction from fans as the much anticipated movie "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" tries to build momentum.
Zack Snyder, the film's director and co-writer, introduced the new Wonder Woman look at the conference and on Twitter. In the promotional photos, actress Gal Gadot stands strong in a bronze ensemble that completely overhauls the red, blue, and gold costume that Lynda Carter made famous in the 1970s when she played the comic book heroine.

After the unveiling, fans flooded DC Comic's Facebook page with more than 1,500 comments and 26,000 shares.
Though some commented on the nature of the revamped outfit, much of the reaction focused more on Gadot herself.
"No. Not nearly ripped enough," one Facebook user commented. "She's supposed to be a warrior, not a cosplay runway model."
"Lame. She is too skinny. Looks like WW's teenage sister," someone else posted.
But others came to Gadot's defense, writing: "Wonder Woman isn't supposed to be built like a tank, she's a warrior and lean muscle is better and more effective than large muscle mass. Many special operators in the military and on SWAT teams (are) lean and unassuming, not large and menacing. Gal Gadot looks perfect to me."
"I'm more interested in her ability to fight than her looks, but this definitely looks awesome," another user added.
The mixed buzz may have helped the "Batman v Superman" franchise, as the DC Comics presentations proved to be the most talked about events at
Comic-Con, according to Marc Graser of Variety.
"Around 73 percent of all emotional reactions to the trailer for the film, which will feature Batman and Superman on the big screen for the first time, considered it 'amazing' . . . [T]he reveal of Gal Gadot in costume as Wonder Woman was one of the biggest moments on Twitter, with the official photo from the studio retweeted over 7,000 times."
