Bill O'Reilly Lauds Lady Gaga as a 'Patriot' for Eating Letterman's Notes

Fox News host Bill O’Reilly hailed pop singer Lady Gaga as a “patriot” Tuesday during his “Pinheads and Patriots” segment on his show for eating David Letterman’s notecard. “I wish I had thought of that when I was on the Letterman program,” O’Reilly said.

During Gaga’s appearance on the “Late Show With David Letterman,” she playfully tore up a notecard, stuffed part of it into her mouth, and started chewing on it.

“My newspaper column this week will be on why Lady Gaga is such a success; there is a reason,” said O’Reilly, who has tried to get her to appear on his show.

The “pinhead” in the segment, meanwhile, was Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad.
