The Seattle Police Department released another set of crime scene photos of Nirvana lead singer Kurt Cobain taken following his suicide at his home in the northwest city almost 20 years ago.

Two photos were released and obtained by the New York Daily News. One picture is a close up of Cobain's arm with his hand resting on his leg and a hospital bracelet on his arm. The other photo is of his foot with a Converse sneaker still on it, next to a torn open paper bag with a box of shotgun cartridges inside.

The 27-year-old grunge rocker took his life on April 5, 1994,with a gunshot to his head. His body was found three days later by an electrician.

"I noticed something on the floor and I thought it was a mannequin," Gary Smith, the electrician who found Cobain's body, told KIRO-TV in Seattle at the time. "So I looked a little closer and geez, that's a person. I looked a little closer and I could see blood and an ear and a weapon laying on his chest."

A suicide note was found pinned in a potted plant.

While Cobain's death has been wrought with conspiracy theorists suggesting the rock icon was murdered, the Seattle police say that after reviewing the recently developed photos, they have decided that the case will not be reopened.

Cobain's widow, Courtney Love, said on Wednesday that a Broadway musical displaying Cobain's music with an honest story about the singer's life is "very likely,"  The Independent reported.
