A new poll concluded that American voters do not agree with Republicans on several issues, including the legalization of marijuana.

The Quinnipiac University national survey discovered that 59 percent of voters think marijuana should be made legal, as opposed to 36 percent who said the opposite.

Other key findings:

  • Republican voters are opposed to legalizing marijuana, 61 percent to 35 percent.
  • 93 percent said they support medical marijuana usage when it's prescribed by a doctor.
  • 62 percent are against cutting taxes across the board.
  • 51 percent are opposed to restarting the Keystone XL and Dakota Access pipelines.
  • 60 percent are against President Donald Trump's plan to have a wall built on the U.S.-Mexico border.
  • 76 percent are opposed to cutting taxes on wealthy Americans.
  • 54 percent are opposed to repealing the Affordable Care Act.

In regards to reports that Trump has a relationship with Russia, 64 percent of voters are either "very concerned" or "somewhat concerned."

"He rattled the rafters with bold calls for pipelines and tax cuts, a big wall and a new health care plan," said Tim Malloy, assistant director of the Quinnipiac University Poll.

"But while his base may be eating it up, a broad portion of the electorate is telling President Donald Trump there is a big difference between campaign bravado and an agenda that works for all Americans."
