As the bewitching hour approaches drawing Halloween near, ghosts and goblins continue to swarm from all over the political spectrum against President Donald Trump. The mounting list of stinging Trumpisms is losing steam. The cauldron of stew is growing more toxic not for Trump but for those who have accused him of malfeasance, now increasingly standing exposed to their own venomous poisons.

Fake News, a Trumpism which unfortunately belittles the dishonesty in journalism, is proving true especially from the New York Times which recently sat for a while on its expose of Harvey Weinstein’s reported harassment of women. Politics itself isn’t to be given a pass through the growing list of congressmen who have slipped and dipped with impunity or made sexist comments. The offices on “the Hill” are seemingly devoid of color, with pretty young things who are eye candy are silently victimized while their male counterparts are too often given the positions with authority to act and make policy.

The false Russian hookups to support Trump’s election are proving time and again to be non-starters unverified by documents.

Trump’s failings to get legislative relief has a Republican taint for there are many who are simply Democrat lite rather than Republican strong. Healthcare will prove as burdensome to tax payers as social security strains our coffers, adding substantially to the national debt in these underfunded entitlements. Immigration reform is the right thing to do, though politicians seem to lack the guts to do it. Try going into Mexico, Iran or other countries without pre-clearance and see what happens. Tax reform and relief will indeed benefit big businesses, but show me where the poor create the jobs to keep the economy going. And many other promises of President Trump’s campaign are up against a wall in the swamp which increasingly is resistant to draining by our own representatives. Mudslides don't willingly yield to the tides of change.

Nightmares are frequent for some of Trump’s supporters as the frailty of our security is exposed from those who are to protect us, i.e. the FBI, CIA, NSC and other agencies whose politics is biased without clear leanings in a non-partisan manner. The sad thing arising is the increasing infiltration of political parties by those with money to the exclusion of those who have put in the work. Trump’s one salvation is his tweeting keeping his connection with his supporters to the chagrin of his detractors. Trump and Congress have got to demonstrate how what we do benefits the masses via more than words. The love of money is the root of all evil and nowhere is that more evident than in politics.
