Whether a military retiree or just recently discharged from military service, many find that veteran-friendly states offer choices on places to live. The opportunities include Veterans Affairs (VA) health facilities, educational benefits, tax relief, and quality of life.
Many states continue to improve their offerings in an attempt to appeal to vets with legislation that improves the lives of those who live there or those who are considering moving there. Americans, in general, want to thank veterans for their service with the best benefits and opportunities available, but some states may provide advantages over others.
