I can remember when most of us laughed at Pennsylvanians for electing John Karl Fetterman as their senator in 2022.

How did the people who want fracking, the minorities suffering from high crime and failing education and welfare vote for a guy most of the country barely knew, a man who suffered a stroke months before being elected.  A man who has battled depression most of life.

In 2008, A political candidate from Allegheny County sued Fetterman and his nonprofit Braddock Redux for unpaid taxes. Finally, a tax lien was placed against Fetterman and his nonprofit for $25,000. In 2012, Fetterman paid off the unpaid taxes. And a man who married a former undocumented immigrant who has been critical of President Donald Trump’s immigration agenda.

Fetterman ran against Dr. Mehmet Oz, cardiac surgeon, television personality and the first Muslim senate candidate from any major political party.

Dr. Oz had celebrity friends, his television show won nine Emmy Awards, best selling author, spokesperson for multiple products, the money and the beautifully groomed family that could model a Hallmark movie.

I remember even left leaning opinion personalities and social media influencers questioning the Keystone State voters.

In two years, lots changed.  Senator Fetterman became the leading Democratic voice of common sense.  He didn’t just post support for Israel after October 7th, he flooded his office walls with hostage posters.  He went to college campuses and confronted Hamas supporters in a professional way.

He went against most in his party and questioned the ability of President Joe Biden to run a second term before he had that disastrous debate.  He called out the press and his party about the strength of the MAGA movement. He never feared appearing on conservative media outlets and speaking his mind.  Last April, he declared himself “not woke” and blasted violent crimes, squatters and attacks on law enforcement.

Since Trump’s election win, he has been front and center on meeting appointees, openly supporting them and urging others in his party to do the same.

Those that made fun of his clothes preferences suddenly joined the movement.  Weighing approximately 400 pounds, suits are expensive to purchase and clean, especially in this economy, and people from both parties could relate and join the movement to dress casually but work professionally. They also relate to financial issues. They love that he shares his personal life with his public and his love of family and pets. He even started making cameos in films.  He became “everyman’s man,” in a political party that seems to dedicate itself to socialism, an elite few and a change in agenda and look.

Republicans are embracing him, including Donald Trump and his inner circle at Mar A Lago.

Rumors swirl that Fetterman is thinking about becoming a republican.

In the world of fake media, a Democratic Party in turmoil and Los Angeles burning, I think Fetterman is thinking 2028.

With the defeats of Cory Bush and Jamaal Bowman in congress and  Kamala Harris losing both the electoral and popular vote, “The Squad” and it progressive anti America First agenda are losing power as you read this, and I predict it will be more apparent in November after local elections.

The antisemites ruling the Democratic Party will never support Josh Shapiro or Jared Polis who are two of their most respected governors because they are Jewish. California fires took the flame out of a Newsom run.  The Arab Michigan constituents voted for Trump, and with his  extended family representing them in the executive branch, Gretchen Whitmer reached the highest office she could win.

At 55-years-old, John Fetterman could be the savior of the Democrats. Or, he could make the best senate team in Washington DC as a GOP leader with Senator Dave McCormick, who has a totally different background and ran the best campaign in the 2024 election cycle, overturning a seat by a longtime incumbent.

My money is that Fetterman is looking to move into 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue.
