Today, President Trump returned to the United Nations to give the heads of state and diplomats attending its General Assembly a reprise of the "tough love"he dished out last year.

Now, however, the president can point to several steps that he has taken in the intervening period to augment well-deserved criticism with concrete corrective action. For example, he abandoned the theater of the absurd that is the U.N. Human Rights Council, an organization whose members are among the most notorious of all human rights abusers.

Next, Mr. Trump slashed U.S. funding for the U.N. agency that perpetuates and enables the Palestinians’ victimhood narrative and their refusal to make peace with Israel.

It’s time he did the same to the U.N.’s anti-corruption arm being used selectively to undermine another key American ally, the government of Guatemala.

Give ’em hell, Mr. President.
