Hillary Clinton has just a 4-point lead — basically a virtual tie — over rival Bernie Sanders in Indiana just days ahead of that state's crucial primary.
Clinton leads among likely Democratic primary voters, 50 percent to 46 percent, in an NBC News/Wall Street Journal/Marist poll released Sunday morning. The poll, conducted April 26–28, has a margin of error of 4.6 percentage points for Democrats.
She only has a slightly higher lead in other polls. The former secretary of state leads Sanders by 6.2 points in Indiana, according to the RealClearPolitics average of polls.
