Hillary Clinton said Donald Trump's refusal to admit whether he would accept the election results was "horrifying."
According to The Washington Post, the Democratic nominee commented on her Republican rival to reporters as she prepared to head home from the final presidential debate.
"It was horrifying what he said on the debate stage tonight. Our country has been around for 240 years, and we're a country based on laws, and we have hot, contested elections going back to the very beginning.
"But one of our hallmarks has always been that we accept the outcomes of our election. We do the best we can to have free and fair elections, which we do, and somebody wins and somebody loses," she added.
During the debate, Trump refused to say whether he would accept the results of the election if he loses. "I will tell you at the time. I'll keep you in suspense," the real estate mogul said.
When asked to comment on Trump calling her a "nasty woman," Clinton responded: "I just didn't pay any attention to that."
The former secretary of state did not offer an opinion on Trump's claim that her supporters had stirred up violence at his rallies, saying she knows "nothing about this" and "can't deal with every one of his conspiracy theories."
"What he said tonight is part of his whole effort to blame somebody else for his campaign and where he stands in this election," she added.
After the debate, Clinton visited a debate watching party in Las Vegas that attracted a large Latino audience. Her campaign said over 5,000 people attended, according to the Post.
At the party, Clinton rejected Trump's idea for mass deportation, saying, "I will fight to keep families together. We are not going to let Donald Trump have a deportation force that will round up 11 million people, along with the 4 million children that were born in this country."
