Longtime Republican donor and financial operative Harry Sloan put his mouth where his money is, formerly endorsing Hillary Clinton on Tuesday, Politico reports.
The former MGM CEO, who has been ensconced in Republican politics and had served on national finance committees for John McCain and Mitt Romney in the past, cut a check to Clinton for $33,400 back in June.
Sloan said in a statement that Donald Trump "does not embody the values that have made me a lifelong Republican," Politico quoted. "He is unprepared and temperamentally unfit to be our President. Most of my Republican friends feel the same way. As a businessman, a father, and a conservative it is clear to me that Hillary Clinton is the right choice in this election."
Sloan backed John Kasich in the Republican primary, according to Politico.
