Just before Republican presidential candidates began their round of debates in Las Vegas on Tuesday, Democrat Hillary Clinton took to Twitter to argue for stronger gun control and to slam GOP calls for banning Muslims and bombing Islamic State terrorists.

Clinton also outlined a plan for defeating ISIS in the U.S. and overseas.
She called for broader airstrikes in Syria; more in-depth visa application reviews for all individuals who have spent time in areas where Islamic State is active; and tighter gun-control laws, including reinstating a ban on the sale of assault weapons.
