Donald Trump met with Department of Homeland Security chief Jeh Johnson on Friday in New York, with neither the secretary nor the president-elect's transition team saying what the pair talked about, the Washington Examiner reported.
However, the 45-minute meeting comes amid a fever pitch of speculation and debate regarding alleged Russian hacking of the election and the reasons behind it.
Johnson was at the fore of blaming Russia for hacks relating to Hillary Clinton's campaign and the Democrats, releasing a joint statement with the Office of the Director of National Intelligence in early October.
