Megyn Kelly believes her fellow Fox News colleague Bill O'Reilly didn't stick up for her enough against a series of personal attacks by Donald Trump when he interviewed the Republican presidential front-runner on "The O'Reilly Factor."

"I do wish that O'Reilly had defended me more in his interview with Trump. I would have defended him more," Kelly tells the April issue of More Magazine.

Kelly was referring to Trump's January head to head with O'Reilly in which he said he had "zero respect" for Kelly after she asked him at the first Fox-sponsored GOP debate about alleged sexist statements he had made.

After that debate, Trump made a comment that many interpreted as meaning that Kelly was having her period during the debate — an allegation he has denied.

"It's always fun to beat up on the moderators in the press — I get that — but there is a boundary one should not cross, and hopefully this helped define where it is," Kelly told More.

Trump has run hot and cold with Kelly since that first debate and recently renewed her attacks on her as he said he would not show for the next Fox GOP debate. That prompted Fox to cancel the event.

One theory about O'Reilly's lack of outrage over Trump's Kelly bashing is that she and O'Reilly are in a rivalry at Fox.
