The Donald Trump-Megyn Kelly saga may continue as Fox News announced it will host a Republican primary debate on March 3 with moderators Chris Wallace, Bret Baier and Kelly,
ABC News reports.
Kelly, appearing on ABC's "Good Morning America" Friday, said although the real estate tycoon hasn't committed to participating in the debate, she hopes he does so they can "just move our Trump questions from the last debate over to this debate. And I'll finally get a chance to ask him."
Trump decided to boycott the last Fox News debate held in Des Moines, Iowa arguing that "he wouldn't be treated fairly" with Kelly as a moderator. Instead, the billionaire held his own
"special event to benefit veterans organizations" at the same time.
Kelly, however, noted that her and her network's ongoing feud with the Republican front-runner is "bizarre."
"It was bizarre because I became the story. He was so very focused on me that I became the story and you never want to be the story when you're a news person," she said.
"You want to be covering the story so it was like an Alice-through-the-looking-glass experience."
But the Fox News host added that she has no regrets when it comes to asking Trump about his treatment of women in the first GOP debate — the infamous question which instigated the feud.
"I stand by every question I asked him and he was not the only one who had tough questions," she said. "He was the only one, however, who complained."
ABC News reports that "Trump's return to the debate stage will be Saturday night at ABC News' Republican debate in New Hampshire."
