Conservative pundits sounded off on reports that Donald Trump plans to select Indiana Gov. Mike Pence as his running mate, with radio host Michael Savage saying that "Pence makes sense."

"It would make a nice bumper sticker," he said. "I sent it to the Trump campaign, but I haven't heard from them yet.

"I didn't know Pence from a hole in the wall," Savage said. "He looks like a Boy Scout."

Laura Ingraham, another radio-talk host, took to Twitter:

Pence had endorsed Texas Sen. Ted Cruz in April during the primary, though he also praised Trump.
