The New York Daily News is giving GOP hopeful Ted Cruz the middle finger.
Cruz has been going after his nearest rival, Donald Trump, slamming him for his "New York values."
The Daily News fired back Friday, with an image of Lady Liberty giving the middle finger to Cruz and a screaming headline that read "Drop Dead, Ted!" It also encouraged him to go back to his birthplace in Canada.

"New York values? New York values are the iron workers who carried their tools in backpacks and gym bags and, by God, walked over the Brooklyn Bridge on the night of Sept. 11, 2001, or all the way downtown from all the way uptown. One of them I know simply said to a cop who didn't want to let him get close to where the towers had been. And the guy said, 'They need me. I cut steel.'"
During Thursday night's Republican debate, Trump turned the tables on Cruz, giving his own description of New York values, and the room raised an applause.
"When the World Trade Center came down, I saw something that no place on Earth could have handled more beautifully, more humanely than New York," Trump said.
Even Cruz applauded.
