Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump are neck-and-neck in Georgia with less than three weeks before the election, according to a new poll from the Atlanta Journal-Constitution.

In a three-way race with Libertarian candidate Gary Johnson, neither Clinton or Trump managed a majority.

  • Trump: 44 percent;
  • Clinton: 42 percent;
  • Johnson: 9 percent;
  • Unsure: 4 percent.

More than half of voters have a negative view of both Clinton and Trump, and a large portion of both candidate's supporters, one-third of Clinton's and just under half of Trump's, see their pick more as a vote against their opponent.

Voters are split down party lines, but unaffiliated voters, who in Georgia usually vote Republican, are evenly divided.

  • Democrats for Clinton: 91 percent;
  • Democrats for Trump: 4 percent;
  • Republicans for Clinton: 4 percent;
  • Republicans for Trump: 85 percent;
  • Independents for Clinton: 38 percent;
  • Independents for Trump: 41 percent.

Despite Trump's claims of a "rigged" election, almost 80 percent of voters are confident that their vote will be correctly counted.

The majority of voters older than 65 support Trump, while one-in-five voters under 39 support Johnson.

Trump's campaign has the backing of only 4 percent of black voters, while Clinton has the support of almost 90 percent. More than half of voters think Trump lacks the temperament to serve as president, while the majority thinks Clinton does, but almost two-thirds find her untrustworthy.

According to RealClearPolitics, Clinton hasn't led Trump in a Georgia poll since early August, and the GOP candidate has an average of 5.3 percentage points on Clinton in the Peach State.
