Republican National Committee Chairman Reince Priebus slammed Donald Trump Monday for his criticism of the delegate system he called a “crooked deal.”
Priebus said it's "perfectly OK” that states like Colorado have convention systems to choose candidates by delegates. He said this in an interview with conservative radio host Mike Gallagher.
Trump said Colorado voters “are going crazy” because they weren’t given votes in the state’s primary process, which ultimately awarded Texas Sen. Ted Cruz all of its 34 delegates over the weekend.
“It’s a crooked deal, and I see it,” the Republican front-runner told “Fox & Friends” in a telephone interview.
