Rasmussen Poll: Trump Back in Lead, Takes 2-Point Advantage Over Clinton

Donald Trump has come from 7 points behind to take a 2-point lead over Hillary Clinton in four days, according to the latest Rasmussen Reports poll released Thursday.

The results:

  • Trump: 43 percent;
  • Clinton: 41 percent;
  • Libertarian candidate Gary Johnson: 6 percent;
  • Green Party nominee Jill Stein: 2 percent;
  • Undecided: 4 percent.

According to the survey, Trump has support from 75 percent of Republicans while Clinton gets 76 percent from Democrats.

Johnson has 13 percent support from unaffiliated voters, and Trump holds a double-digit lead over Clinton with that subset.

The survey of 1,500 likely voters was conducted on Oct. 10-12 by Rasmussen Reports. The margin of sampling error is +/- 2.5 percentage points with a 95 percent level of confidence.
