News Corporation Chairman Rupert Murdoch was most impressed with Florida Sen. Marco Rubio's performance in Wednesday's second GOP presidential debate, and took to Twitter to announce it.
International Business Times praised Rubio's performance, especially on foreign policy.
Rubio also was popular on social media when he made a joke about bringing his own water to drought-stricken California – a reference to when he grabbed a sip of water during a Republican response to a State of the Union address by President Barack Obama in 2013.
The joke may have been big online, but it fell flat with the live audience at the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library.
