CNN Exit Poll: 53 Percent Feel Betrayed By Republican Party

Fifty-three percent of Republicans voting in the South Carolina primary on Saturday said that they felt betrayed by the GOP — and that Donald Trump and Ted Cruz ran the most unfair campaigns during the race.

Here are the results of the CNN exit poll of Palmetto State voters:

Do you feel that you have been betrayed by the Republican Party?
  • Yes: 53 percent.
  • No: 44 percent.
Which candidate ran the most unfair campaign in South Carolina?
  • Trump: 41 percent.
  • Cruz: 32 percent.
  • Jeb Bush and Marco Rubio: 8 percent each.
  • John Kasich: 3 percent.
  • Ben Carson: 0 percent.
