Donald Trump has announced the when and where, but scant other details, about the program he plans to put on in Iowa at the same time as the Fox News Republican presidential primary debate he has promised to boycott.
Business Insider political reporter Colin Campbell on Wednesday tweeted out a screengrab of an email announcing the particulars:
According to the announcement, which also can be seen on an
Eventbrite page, Trump will appear Thursday at Drake University's Sheslow Auditorium. Money raised will be donated to veterans groups, according to the campaign.
The email says a pre-program begins at 7 p.m. Central Time with the main event at 8. That coincides with the start of the main debate on Fox News Channel that Trump is skipping over claims he will not be treated fairly by Megyn Kelly, one of the moderators.
