Donald Trump said Wednesday he has a foreign policy advisor: himself.
"I'm speaking with myself, number one, because I have a very good brain and I have said a lot of things," the GOP front-runner told MSNBC's
"Morning Joe" co-host Mika Brzezinski, pointing out that he wrote about the threat of Osama bin Laden in the year 2000, before the Sept. 11, 2001 attacks.
"I know what I'm doing and I listen to a lot of people," said Trump. "But my primary consultant is myself and I have a good instinct."
And while his foreign policy has been described as being "neo-isolationist," Trump disagrees.
"The fact is I was asked about going into Iraq," he said. "It was a horrible mistake. At the same time, now that you have ISIS, we have to take ISIS out. They're cutting heads. They're drowning people in cages and they're looking to do serious damage."
