An adviser to Donald Trump is telling the media to "kiss off" — blasting coverage of Melania Trump's speech at the GOP National Convention and charges that she plagiarized a 2008 Michelle Obama address.

In an interview with Breitbart News at the Cleveland convention, New Hampshire State Rep. Al Baldasaro, who has been an adviser to the GOP presidential nominee on veterans' issues, called the coverage of Melania Trump's speech "a disgrace."

"Tell the liberal media to kiss off because it's a shame what's going on," he fumed, Breitbart reports.

"Here's a mother, here's a model, here's a business woman — why can't they praise her accomplishments and try to pick and choose certain words?" he continued, according to Breitbart News.

"Irregardless of who wrote the speech . . . the bottom line is she presented herself as a professional — God's gift to the Republicans."

"Get over it and stop being jealous of the future first lady."

Baldasaro also came to Donald Trump's defense during a May 31 news conference on his fundraising for veterans, telling reporters to "get your head out of your butt, focus on the real issues."
