Barry Farber, a Newsmax columnist and one of the most legendary figures in talk radio, is kicking off a new show on CRN Digital Talk Radio.
“The Barry Farber Show” airs Monday through Friday at 5 p.m. Pacific Time. CRN will also stream it live at www.CRNTalk.com and syndicate it to broadcast radio via Star Guide.
In addition, the show is available on Paltalk, “where guests from around the world can talk with Farber in real time via the show’s chat room (PalTalk.com),” CRN said in a statement.
The show launched Monday night.
“Speaking your mind into some microphones has no more power than a butterfly’s belch,” Farber told Newsmax.
“With CRN Digital Talk Radio, it’s more like a thunderclap.”
Farber said the first focus of his new show will be the economy.
Farber launched his radio career in New York in 1960, and began hosting a national talk show on the ABC Radio Network in 1990.
He ran unsuccessfully for Congress in 1970, then left talk radio in 1977 to run unsuccessfully for New York City mayor.
Farber was named 1991’s “Broadcaster of the Year” by his peers, and listed by Talkers magazine in 2002 as the 9th greatest radio talk show host of all time.
This year he has been nominated for induction in the National Radio Hall of Fame.
Farber is also the author of many books, including “Superstar Sales Secrets” and “How to Learn Any Language.”
He became a regular columnist and pundit for Newsmax in April 2000.
