Herman Cain is a mover and a shaker, a businessman and — comedian.
Cain has shown a sense of humor on the campaign trail, at one moment calling himself the "flavor of the month" at others saying things like "I don't talk politician."
But on Monday, a video circulated the web that proves Cain is funny — and an amazingly talented singer. He's shown in the video below, reportely from 1991, crooning in a parody of John Lennon's 'Imagine.'
In it, Cain imagines — what else —a world without pizza.
Cain, in a white choir robe, deadpans the the lyrics "All I am saying is, give pizza a chance."
Story continues below the video.
The video has become a web sensation and also generated a number of odes to pizza on Twitter using hashtag #HermanCainPizzaJams.
And the online news site
Slate went so far as to offer up the lyrics, which start this way: "Imagine there's no pizza/ I couldn't if I tried/Eating only tacos/
Or Kentucky Fried/ Imagine only burgers/ It's frightening and sad."
Cain is well-known to have a singing voice and he brings it on the campaign now and then, including this weekend when, during a campaign stop in Tennessee, he broke into a rendition of "The Impossible Dream" from the musical "Man of La Mancha."
