Democrats continue to pile on against their own president. Star Democratic strategists James Carville and Stan Greenberg say the White House is to blame for much of the party’s massive losses in the midterm elections, because it is out of touch with the concerns of ordinary citizens,

Greenberg, who was former President Bill Clinton's top pollster during the 1992 presidential race, says President Barack Obama's erred by talking about a "car in the ditch" on the campaign trail.
"A metaphor about a car in the ditch when people are in trouble and angry about the abuse of Wall Street, it's just out of touch with what's going on," he says.
Although the strategists criticized the Democratic approach for the 2010 midterm elections, Carville added that President Obama stands a good chance for re-election in 2012.
Carville opined that minorities and younger voters will return to the polls to support Obama again as the nation's electorate shifts further left.
"The deck he's going to be playing with in 2012 is going to be fundamentally more favorable than the one he played with in 2010," Carville told The Hill.
"Republicans are forced to double down on older whites," he added. "And long term, that's not a very productive place to be."
