Beck: Huckabee Should Stay Out of the Race

The spat between star radio host Glenn Beck and former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee, a potential Republican presidential candidate, continues. On Friday, Beck said his fellow conservative was "co-opting" liberal "talking points," Politico reports.

There are "really tough issues that real conservatives will have with Mike Huckabee," Beck said on his show. "If, sir, you are this thin-skinned about your politics, it might be best for you to stay on the sidelines" and not run, he said.

Earlier in the week, Beck called Huckabee a "progressive," because he defended Michele Obama amid criticism of her healthy eating drive. Huckabee shot back on his own radio show Thursday, accusing Beck of calling him a "Nazi."

On Friday, Beck said, “I did not realize that I had called all progressives Nazis. I have said Nazis have used progressive tactics....read Goebbels, he talks about it in his diaries."
