Gallup: Obama Numbers at All-Time Low

Monday, 12 April 2010 06:44 AM EDT ET

President Obama's job approval numbers have hit an all-time low despite his administration’s claim of signing a historic healthcare overhaul law, according to the Gallup daily tracking poll.

Obama now garners 45 percent approval and 48 percent disapproval — a finding that other polls conducted by Rasmussen Reports and others have backed.

Significantly, the trend line continues to be downward for Obama. The one-point difference from his previous low of 46 percent isn't very significant, statistically speaking, but it shows no bump from the passage of Obamacare.
