House Speaker John Boehner, speaking on “Fox News Sunday,” responded to those who question his propensity to cry by saying “I am who I am."

“I feel pretty strongly about what I do; I get emotional,” Boehner told Chris Wallace.

Wallace showed Boehner a video clip from President Barack Obama's State of the Union address last week, and noted that Boehner even looked emotional when Obama noted that Boehner had risen from sweeping floors in his father’s store to speaker of the House.

Boehner quipped: “You should have handed me a box of tissues.”
