States: Judge Wants End to Work on Obamacare

The 26 states and business group that filed a lawsuit against the new healthcare law are upset about how the Obama administration is reacting to a U.S. District Court ruling that Obamacare is unconstitutional. The states and the National Federation of Independent Business (NFIB) say Judge Roger Vinson in Florida clearly ruled that work to implement the law should cease, The Hill reports.

After that decision, some states decided that Obamacare is toast unless an appellate court reverses the decision. Florida has refused federal grants for implementation of the law.

The comments from the states and the NFIB appeared in a filing for the Florida federal court a week after the Obama administration asked for clarification of Vinson’s decision.
