Real estate mogul/reality TV star Donald Trump has injected some last-minute drama into the Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC) that begins Thursday. He has been added as a speaker to the event and is scheduled to address attendees Thursday at 3 p.m., Politico reports.

Trump has made a lot of noise about running for president in recent weeks. “I am seriously thinking about it,” he told CNN’s Piers Morgan Wednesday. “I won't make a decision until June. But, I will make a decision, and it may surprise people, frankly.”

And does Trump think he can beat out experienced politicians? “Yes, I think I could win, otherwise I wouldn't do it,” he said.

“I don't think there is a leader right now of the [GOP] candidates. Romney, I guess, would be somebody that people are thinking about, but it's not resonating. Sarah Palin is somebody that I happen to like, I just don't think she can win the election, and a lot of people agree.”
