Obama and his administration were aware of Russian meddling in American politics and elections and did nothing. Why did Obama do nothing?
Simply put: Obama needed the Russian meddling so that it could be used as a vehicle to spy on Trump and the Republicans.
Had the Obama Administration taken strong steps to clamp-down on Russian involvement, the game would have been over for the Russians.
The meddling was quietly and falsely used by the Obama Administration to claim Trump and his followers had colluded with the Russians. This false claim gave a special court (FISA) the reason to authorize the spying by the FBI of Trump and his followers. Rather than putting a stop to the Russians, the meddling became an excuse legally to spy on an opponent during a presidential election — an unprecedented act of political malpractice and illegality.
But that is not all. According to the emails of high level FBI officials, there was a plan B in the event Hillary lost and Trump won. Now fired Andrew McCabe was likely one of the FBI officials involved in Plan B. Plan B was to keep the Russian collusion assertion in the news to force the appointment of a special prosecutor to investigate Trump, under the guise that he colluded with the Russians to help somehow manipulate the election. To this end FBI director James Comey leaked information through a friend who in turn leaked it to the press (these corrupt officials and Hillary supporters usually have the dirty work done with several intermediaries in between them and the illegalities).
A few observers have wondered why Comey leaked information rather just coming out with it officially through the FBI. The explanation would appear to be Russian involvement with Trump in the election needed to be nebulous and something to investigate. Not something as clear and factual as a report from the FBI.
And so plan B actually happened. Through Comey’s leaks, plus the convincing of the new Attorney General Sessions to step aside and recuse himself, Hillary supporters in the Justice Department seized control. The conspirators orchestrated the appointment of a special prosecutor to investigate Trump. The sign of bias appeared immediately: the appointed top investigators were Hillary supporters. Plan B was going well for the conspirators.
Thus, although there was a fear of Russia somehow meddling and influencing politics and government in America, it was actually Obama, Hillary, and their corrupt Justice Department that was to be feared trying to bring down a legally elected president.
More troubling for those hoping for a fair process is that a portion of the high level FBI investigators were involved in the corruption, such as: investigations of Hillary’s email scandal, corrupt spying on Trump and his followers, and most likely corrupt activity that permitted Hillary and her merry band to sell 20 percent of the nation’s uranium to the Russians.
Once the spying was underway, Obama and his administration, then made available the top secret spying information to many more officials in many departments of government. By literally opening the books to what was found by the spying, it was more difficult to trace back who leaked this secret information to the press. In addition, the information gleaned by spying was hoped to cause trouble for Trump, even if there was no illegalities found with spying, surely some improprieties might be found or at least suspected, so that the dishonest Democratic press could smear and attack the Trump Administration. With luck Trump’s presidency would be weakened and with even more luck, he could be impeached and kicked out of office.
Of course Obama was getting daily briefings about national security issues. He was well-informed and it is likely that he knew everything going on. In fact one of the text messages by dishonest FBI workers that concerned the spying illegality mentioned that POTUS (president of the United States) wanted to be kept informed.
The available evidence, much of it still not revealed because the Justice Department refuses its legal obligation to cooperate with Congress, suggests that the corruption and rot reaches into the Obama White House. At one point there was a key meeting in the White House when at least a few of the people present wanted to take action against the Russians, and Susan Rice, who lied on multiple Sunday news programs about the Benghazi scandal, told the people at the meeting to “stand down” on doing anything about Russia.
It is time to investigate everything, get the information to the public, and begin court proceedings. Jeff Session’s Justice Department needs to stop obstructing the release of documents so the statute of limitations does not put these people and their scandals beyond the courts and punishment. These arrogant people attempted to undermine democratic processes and the United States Constitution. Some of these people need to go to jail, and it is quite likely the crimes reach high into the White House.
