Harvard Law Professor Alan Dershowitz tells
Newsmax TV there is no doubt that Israel will have to make alliances with Arab nations against Iran as it pursues nuclear weapons.
"They may be quiet and below the surface with others who are opposed to the deal with Iran," Dershowitz said Wednesday on "Newsmax Prime."
America has no allies on the proposed nuclear deal except for Iran and perhaps Syria, Dershowitz said. "America has picked the wrong side here and its lost its allies, and its allies now have to make alliances among themselves in order to prevent the implementation of a deal that will give Iran a nuclear weapon within 10 years."

The White House has been pushing a deal opposed by Republicans that is expected to be signed this summer. Dershowitz agrees with their position that economic sanctions should have been continued to help push Iran toward concessions.
"Now, America's on its knees," he said. "We need the deal. Iran is holding out and they’re managing to get everything they want."
The United States isn't even asking for reasonable concessions, Dershowitz said, pointing to Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's suggestion of not allowing a sunset provision to go into effect in 10 years if Iran hasn't given up its support for terrorism, fighting proxy wars in the region and demanding the destruction of Israel.
Dershowitz said he agrees with Israel's ambassador to the United States Michael Oren, who believes the Obama administration purposely damaged the relationship between America and Israel.
"He was pressured into it by (liberal advocacy group) J Street, and other organizations that claim to be pro-Israel, but are really anti-Israel," Dershowitz said.
